Pros: - Shaped like a human nail clipper, easy to handle
- Has the nail guard; not fool-proof
- Had a container to contain the nails
Cons:- The plastic container sort of blocks the blades edge; kind of difficult to aim the nail directly into the groove
- Once you shake the clipper, all the stored bits of nails can fall out.
- The nail guard is not fool-proof, if the pet's nail is inserted slanted in, the guard won't work. Moreover, the nail tends to be curved, making the nail guard not very precise, seems like the nails I cut is more than 2mm long.
- Don't seem to be strong enuff for tougher nails
Review: Managed to cut twinkle's nails. Her nails are not very tough, so they are easily cut. But i cut into twinkle's quick (nail nerve) once and resulted in bleeding. :( I think this nail clipper is good enough for her. Probably want to try using a scissor nail clipper with nail guard just to compare. Guillotine style clipper is definitely out of my consideration.
